There was (and I still have mine) a great comparison article in Car & Driver in '69 called The Econo-Racers, six car competition of the strippers- a 383 Super Bee, Pontiac Judge, Chevelle 396/375hp, Fairlane Cobra 428CJ, Cyclone 428CJ, and a Roadrunner with a Hammy. Drag strip, road course, braking tests etc. Hammy was first, but by a very small margin over the Cobra Jet Fairlane, Cyclone next, then the Bee and Judge, and the Chebbie dead last

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
