Never deal with two different people on the same purchase. When the husband did the deal, why would you let his wife change the terms of the deal the two of you set ? Never really cared for dealing with a couple ,too often there is some underlying tension between the two of them , and you end up being in the middle. I think in this case the wife thought the hay was worth more that her dumb azzed husband did, and she was going to prove him wrong. She didn't give a hoot about his word, just had to be right. I have sold a lot of hay to horsey type , and seems if the wife is involved , she will tend to be a real know it all. Next time they call,I don't have any hay.
