Back years ago in the 80's there was a guy that used to have a truck grain box on a fifth wheel trailer like you want to do. It worked good for him. He used a regular single wheel pickup for it. I would shy away from a scissor hoist. I think they have to work to hard to lift the box unlike a telescopic hoist. The hinges need to be greased often though. A friend of dads,had one nobody greased the hinge. It set up so they had to cut it out and replace the back frame for the hinge to mount to after they bent it. I would like to find a good aluminum dump trailer for grain. About a 1000 bushel size.
