They will dump grain but you will find they are a PAIN for hauling much grain. You will easily overload your pickup with very much grain in the trailer. There where a bunch of them around here 20 years ago and within a few years they all where gone.
Also the DOT really likes catching you hauling with them. Not many have the correct license on a pickup for the weight that they will weight pulling one of these.
Truck and trailer easily can weight 14-15K so add in 300 bushel of corn 56x300=16800 lbs. Total weight 30-31K or 15-16 ton license needed. Then your over the 26,000 GVW that means a whole additional set of DOT rules.
So make sure you have all your bases covered if you decide on one of these to haul grain with.
