Talk it over with your father.....reasonable conversations go a long ways sometimes. If he is interested in saving it, price it out/compare to demo costs and new. Maybe he has visions for growth, improvements, and upgrades to keep the farm going for years to come and would love to see something new. I too am one to overthink stuff sometimes and worry....sometimes people surprise you. Knowing his opinion at least lets you know what your options are. Good luck....I envy you, my father was taken much too early and would love to hear his opinions again.
