With in the past couple of months My dad and I have been looking for a planter unit to show with our tractors at the tractor shows. WE have finally found a nice one which is I.H. planter two roll. WE are excited to get it but it comes to my mind I have made another problem for myself. I have to figure out how I am going to pick it up and bring it home. This planter unit is in the state IN and I live in California. Can any body tell me who does hauling and what are the prices? Is there an easy way to get problem solved. If I go to pick it up I will need more time than a week off from work because I know myself well. Every tractor store and every tractor wrecking yard I want to stop and see if I could buy parts for my tractor projects that I have. I could see it know all that good stuff loaded on my car trailer, cash brook but very happy. If I went to get it I would spend more money than what it would coast to have it hauled to us.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
