I am looking at a land level that is 12 ft wide x 24 ft long that needs some work, mainly new lifting cables, repair to linkage holes, and new tires and wheels, and could use some work on spindle slides where level lifts on spindles. The current owner and myself neither one knows what the value is as this is something that is not used much anymore and hasn't been used in about 10 years. It is local to me being it is about 5 miles away in south La. I need one to do some leveling of about 3 acres and then probably not much use after that and we both were wondering what is its current value? I know it is worth what one person will pay but I don't want to make an offer that would insult him and at the same time pay twice what I could get it for. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.
