I posted a few weeks back about trailering { is that a word?} my sons car out to Fort Collins for his summer job out there. Well we just got back and what great trip. Those of you that live in that great state are so lucky. Drove around some bad weather. Missed two tornados by about 50 miles. Got into one big rain storm and drove through a very spooky snow storm up by the Alpine visitor center at around 12,000 ft. That had a high pucker factor. Did the Royal gorge and drove up hi way 9 through Breckenridge and Dillon. Wow it was amazing. In Canon city got to stay in a room that one of my all time heroes had stayed in. Just down the hall John Wayne had stayed. Granddaughter collapsed up at the Alpine Visitor center like a rag doll. They got her some O2 and Gatorade and she was good to go in a bit. Little think was not used to the thin air. Rocky mountain park, if you have not gone.As you can see lots of snow still up high. Go, its awesome. Kids wanted to go through the Stanley motel in Estes where the Shining movie was written. Very pretty place.2,250 miles of pure pleaser. Heck I even had fun driving back across Kansas. Here’s a few pics.

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
