Today I was doing a repair at a City Hall and saw a guy back up to one of those electrical outlets with his electric car, and just walked away. No credit card, no money into a slot, just hooked up and walked away. Hmm? I walked over and took a look. No credit card, no money slot, just free electricity for him and another car parked by him. I have to pay for my diesel and my gas AND road tax on top of that. So if I have an electric car or vehicle, the tax payers pay for my fuel. What a sweet deal. Tax payers pay about $7,500 refund from the government that goes towards electric cars, and then users just need plug in at city hall and have the taxpayers pay for their fuel. Sweet deal. I wonder who pays for their registration and insurance...beyond health care.
