There is a total misunderstanding here.
I commented that the "left coast" was up early LOL ! today. Meaning the geographic area that YT is in, and the time difference, relative to what is usual or typical moderation on these forums, deletion of content not deemed acceptable, on a regular basis. Meaning, you guys/gals were on the ball early today !!!! That was all I meant by this.
I think after all these years, most know the etiquette quite well on this site and for the most part abide by the simple rules, myself included. I think most also know in advance what will get deleted prior to it being done, its happened as long as I've participated here and appears to be a regular maintenance function.
Kim, you obviously directed a comment towards me in regards to this post. Some of what was written made no sense to me, more so about the reasoning behind the deletion by the moderator. I made no comment about that at all, it happens, and I have no opinion on any of it, really don't care, its just a regular editing feature to maintain the site within the parameters you have set, family/all ages, G rated if you will. Its fair to say, that's one reason I like this site!
I gave this some thought, something was way off here, given the response you posted so I look up "Left Coast" read one sentence of wikpedia..... Its a political expression.... and that's all I needed. Ok, now I understand, well I did not read any further about it, I'd rather avoid political expressions for obvious reasons!
I had NO idea this was a political expression when I wrote it, if I did, I'd have looked for a definition on the web, just like I do any other time, or "engage brain before mouth" so to speak! I've heard it used and thought it was strictly geographical in definition of the U.S. So, please pardon my ignorance. I felt this needed to be said as there was language about revocation of posting privileges and a rebuttal by you about false statements and something else, none of which I understood at all. Again I made no comment about the deletion or as to why the moderators did so, but it was insinuated that I did. That is untrue, and I think the deleted post reflects that. (I did not save your post, but did save a copy of the deleted post)
That should clear things up, its a simple misunderstanding by virtue of an expression that has more than one defintion. Well that and just commenting on a news story just the same, knowing its a gray area subject to deletion anyway LOL !

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
