Is this in the Ford Literature? I looked up and found 35,000 GCVWR for F-350. when you subtract weight of truck and trailer you should still be around 20,000. Duallies give you a little more but not much because your net load is decreased by the extra weight of the truck. You say tandem, do you mean tandem dual? I pull a 22,400 goose neck loaded to the legal limit behind my SRW F-350. Don't even mention driving safely and looking like you know what you are doing like somebody posted yesterday, accidents are accidents. The engine braking systems on the newer trucks help a whole lot. On my first time out with a heavy load some one ahead of me locked up their brakes, and even though I was leaving lots of room I didn't think that I had room but the combination of the truck and trailer brakes stopped me easily.
