I actually tripped over this yesterday in an abandoned yard it looks home made to a point but the frame was manufactured and the grill and the support looks factory the drive is an open gear inside a large dish like gear with square holes sort of a reverse gear drive I seen on steam engines and oil pulls still had the front steering linkages and drag link but nothing else visable so not sure if it was a steering box or a handle like thing like on very early autos might go back and snag it to see what I can make of it
