Randy, Would like to be able to do that but just cant. He is a Amish machinery dealer and this model planter is highly desireable in his area. Just looked up on mapquest location of planter and it is 110 mile one way or a 220 mile round trip. and Map quest says 2 hours 15 minutes, that actually would be 3 hours one way. And then he is 60 mile away a different direction that I would have to do a second day. I figure I would have around $75 just in fuel and I just cannot subsidise his bussiness. For his own use would be different than for resale. I would need to make something as proffit to be able to afford to do it. I know he could get one of the commercial truckers to do it and the route they would take would probably be 275 mile so at commercial truckers rates of I hear $3.00 a mile would be what $850. His cost would be more than resale value of the planter. Would $.50 or $.75 be a reasonable figure per mile? Thinking more like the $.75. As I would have wear and tear on my outfit. plus fuel and 2 days of my time. Would $1.00 be better? Just hate to see something they would like to have go to scrap.

My model "H" even had the old style fronts with plenty of tread. My "L" fronts were mismatched Sears Guardsman snow tires, which I promptly tossed. Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
