UD, You should have a 4L80 in yours being an 06. The rest of the guys in the posts should all have 6L90s. 07 and newer.
Honestly, it could be a bunch of things, hard to narrow down. Something as simple (but expensive) as the TCM going bad. Lots of codes could be set too. Do you have a check engine light on?
Bad ground?, charging system working right? shift solenoids, line pressure?
