Well put one on each side. Or you could put a faucet through the wall. With the faucet you could use a short hose to feed it. This would eliminate the freezing thing in the winter and would allow you to have water both places. The faucet would also be able to be shut off inside so no need to go outside to shut it off till fall. If you use a piece of PVC pipe over the hydrant you can by just shutting down the water change the hydrant if it goes bad. No digging.
