Ya this problem started as a clutch safety switch problem so I took the switch out of the system. Clutch got to the point it was not releasing as it should have so did a new clutch disk and pressure plate etc. Which of course did not fix it. Found that the pedal did not come up all the way so got a big wrench and hooked it to the cable end of the pedal assembly and held the pedal and that is when the pedal came off of the shaft. Ya getting under the dash is a major pain in the back sides. Figure I'll have to pull the drives seat to do so
