you didnt mention if it is level or flatland. It does make a difference. I personally prefer my Oliver 1955. (I prefer the 1955 on any job) Looks like overkill on the flat fields but in the steep hills I have had that thing throw coal smoke all the way to the top. Really glad that I have 3 speeds to shift back. We will start our hay season with the 1955 0n the Haybine and 4010 on the Hi cap rake with whatever is available for the tedder. But as we move to the hills, Oliver goes to the rake and 4450 mfd on to the haybine. Often need the mfd to make the hills or to hold the sidehills if that clay is at all wet.
