All of the comments below about the environment and trucks idling I believe may be small peanuts compared to other places in the world. I don't believe you should blatantly pollute things, like pouring waste oil or antifreeze into a storm drain or throwing tires into a pond or burying them for someone to find later. However, when you see how they do things over seas in China, India, all those other poor countries, its shocking how much they pollute the environment. Burning huge piles of electronics to remove the precious metals, acres of tires to remove the steel belts, chemical plants that pour all of their waste chemicals into the rivers until they run red and nothing can live in them. This stuff goes into the same oceans along our shores. I don't believe a little diesel smoke would ever do the same damage.
