Sometimes you get surprised. I have been buying through eBay almost since they began. Only had two bad deals. One guy sold me a coin that was clearly not what he advertised. While he seemed to be owning up to his error, he wanted me to return it insured. Sent it out, and it came back a few days later as refused. He made the excuse that he could not be home to sign for an insured package. So, at his request, I resent it regular mail. He conveniently said that he never received it. Hmmmmmm..... seemed a bit fishy to me. Before it got any more involved, I ended contact with him. He emailed me a few times offering restitution, but by that time, I was sick of the whole deal and too angry to maintain self control. Another was a rather expensive part for my antique car. Arrived badly damaged. Seller was very reluctant to file a claim with the carrier. Again, I salvaged what was left and walked away from the deal. Last Friday, I ordered two items from two different vendors. Item one was a valve spring compressor. Scheduled delivery date was for Monday. Still not here. Rechecked the delivery schedule, and it now says between Monday and Thursday. Item two was a set of valves for a Dodge Neon. Scheduled delivery date was Thursday. Arrived Monday. Go figure???????

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
