It's been awhile since I have done one. The procedure
is fairly straight forward. You will need a different
flywheel and clutch assy. The critical item that needs
to be watched is the splines on the output shaft of the
the replacement transmission. The sos transmissions have
a fine spline. Early 5 speeds used a coarse spline. If
you get a coarse spline transmission then the pinion will also have
to be changed. You will also need a different pto shaft and
side cover with the lever to engage the pto.
