Hi All, I am stuck with my overhaul of my fordson major engine. The bearings in tthe overhaul kit for the piston pin have no lube holes in them. Now they do have an internal X grave into it for the oil, but no holes. Issue is the ones I pulled out had the holes on tge top of the concord, however tge Conrod has on the did a he as well wich is countersunk too but wasn't used. The two top lube holes were located the the ends of the X not tge center aand no countersunk either. Now which hole (s) should I align tge X with ? Center of X with the side hole which is countersunk or the top holes which are not countersunk and at the end of the engraved X. ? Help please!!!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
