Years ago I had 2 hound dogs (brothers) that made it there mission in life to rid the world of ground hogs, There wasn't one for 2 miles of home and they didn't like muskrats ether. It was something to watch the 2 of them work together to get one, They would lay all day at a hole (hidden) waiting for one to come out of the hole and then the fight was on! They would wait till it was 20 feet from the hole to make there move then they would circle it making sure it could not get back to it's hole and kept circling till the ground hog made a mistake and it was all over in short order. The bad thing was they would bring it back to the house to show me that they got one and leave it for me to burry it. One was bad enough but sometimes there would be 3 or 4 to do a day. They both had there battle scares and a few trips to the vet to get patched up after they tangled with a big old one but they did it till the day they died at 16 years old. Good dogs and I miss them everyday. Bandit

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
