Your on the right track and your skills and enthusiasm will take you a long way. From my point of view, if I had my druthers I would like new equipment and do buy new when possible. The difference I see is when a newer piece breaks down if you haven't had the training you can screw up more than you can pay for and it might void the warranty. Also, as a small operator if I have a breakdown that requires a dealer service call it's usually the busy time of the year. Since I don't give them as much business they go to their best customers first. That extra day may cost me 2 weeks, it would have this year. My older equipment is easier for my ancient mind to figure out. In 50 years you may have the same problem :lol:

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
