The booster doesn't supply both. I have two of them for this TV though. The one we had for years on the old analog TV worked better than the new one that I bought for this TV right after we got it. I've tried both, same results. In frustration,I just ran it through the VCR,which hadn't been hooked up the way it was on the old analog. I had absolutely nothing doing it that way. When we remodeled the house,I put a 4 plug receptacle behind the TV. It's plugged in to that along with all the other TV related stuff. The light on the booster comes on when it's plugged in,so it has power. I've checked the back of the TV for reset buttons, can't find a thing. I turned it off while I was in the shower to let it cool down. 13 channels when I turned it back on. There's no rhyme or reason either. We used to have UHF and VHF channels. Up to channel 13 and then 14 up. I'm getting them either side of there. When I say 13 channels though,it's not 13 different channels,it's 4 with all their subsidiaries.
