These bales a 4 foot x 4 foot 6 inches. Never weighed one , but as they are not dry hay ,they are plenty heavy. Way more than 800lb. , more like 1200lb . To put it another way , you don"t want to push them around by hand.I make the bales this size for a very good reason. You see my truck bed is 18" long , and four bales will fill the length of the truck with no waste space, and no over hang.Truck will carry 11 of these wet bales comfortably or 14 dry bales. Bruce

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
