Another little known fact is that in the late 1950's the NRA lobbied strongly against what was termed cheep "Saturday night specials", or small caliber snub- nose pistols often involved in crimes of passion. That is a bit of history that has evidently been removed from their files. Every NRA representative I have discussed this with has no knowledge of it happening. This is easy to understand in today's culture of extremism and fault-finding. No place for moderation and compromise in today's society.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
