If he is willing to send you shipping money, you might want to do him the favor of not sticking him for COD shipping. If he is going to electronically send you the funds, just box up the part, measure the 3 dimentions and weigh it and any shipping company can tell you what that will cost. He can then just pay you and you send it off.
If he is going to snail mail you, ask him if he can just print off a shipping lable, using the box size and weight he print the proper postage and throw the lable in an envelope for you.
Using either of the above will cover shipping easily and cheaply and you can even contact shippers to pick up at your house.
Dont make it harder than what it is or he is just going to tell you to stuff it again....
