If you can go farther north the Rollag Minnesota show is Labor Day weekend, saturday, sunday and monday. It's too big to see and do everything in 3 days. Not so many gas tractors as other places, but a dozen or more steam engines, many early gas tractors like Oil Pulls and Samsons. Too many hit and miss engines to count. A 2 story tall Allis steam engine running a generator. Seversl saw mills, threshers and other belt drive farm implements in opperation. If the fields are dry enough they do plowing with the steamers and large steel wheeled tractors. They also have a large section of antique construction equipment in opperation including a couple steam shovels. There is also a horse section with working horse equipment. And a period town with shopping and working printing presses. It's a long way from where you intend to be, but well worth the trip.
