I have a inline 7 wheel Vicon rake. I had to bale some hay for a neighbor with the usual difficulties of weather, rough ground, and distance away. The main problem was narrow gates I couldn't get my v rake through. The inline rake went through the rakes fine and made nice windrows. It has its share of things that require getting used to. It will not turn sharp to the right because the rake tongue will hit the tractor wheel. I have to wedge the spring loaded catch open to swing the tongue over to operating position. The hydraulic cylinder is leaking and will need repair before more use, but that could happen to any implement. Anybody else have an inline rake? Did I mention it made nice windrows?
