I called a guy about a CO2 cylinder for my small mig welder. He had several advertised as full. He said he usually gets 150.00 for the bottles, but now is selling them for 125.00 and said he had regulators for 50.00. We met at a restaurant. I looked at the regulator it was a china one HF sells for a lot less. I said I just want the tank. Ok he said it is 150.00. I thought it was 125.00. Since you didn't buy the regulator it is now 150.00 for the tank. I paid for the tank, it is still a bit less I could buy a tank for, Then I get home and the tank is MT. I called him and after a few words, he hung up on me. I go the welding shop to exchange the tank. The guy there said that looks like a Pepsi Cola tank with the name sanded off. He exchanged it anyway. My tank was made of aluminum, the one I got in exchange is steel. He must of thought the aluminum was worth exchanging. So now I have a full tank. Total now is $180.00 Just about what a tank would cost without meeting a jerk. Stan

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
