That's why I bought a Mahindra eMax 22... more tractor for less money than a Deere, and the perfect size for our little "hobby" farm operation. The wife liked the 5 yr. warranty and actually talked me out of a used tractor. It's not a matter of paying for it, it's a matter of time savings and convenience. We are still working full time, 2 hr. a day commute, and can afford a payment less than $200 a month but don't have the time available to get everything done. The little tractor and loader help enormously with chores and projects around the place. So, there are lots of reasons that folks buy these, although why a Deere I don't know, when there are so many options with better value out there.. Kubota, Mahindra, Kioti, LS, New Holland, TYM, Yanmar, etc.
