I still have a dozens acres or so left to go, but, I was surprised at some of my beans in the well drained sandy soil. Usually the ground doesn't do much, but with all the rains, these beans really took off, and so did the corn. There was hardly a weed in the corn or beans as they canopied real nice early. I was bending the beans over with the front axle of the tractor (Ford 7000 Row Crop) and in some places, they were about clutch pedal high.

I have a wicked rash of giant cocklebur in some spots. I can't remember seeing those weeds in quite a while. I bent it over with the sprayer booms and I hope I got enough coverage to get it killed. 48oz/A of Syngenta Touchdown is about as strong as I have ever gone, so we will see what happens.
