Our trip to Seattle has had some bumps and bruises. First,as I posted earlier, our flight was cancelled, requiring a little fast phoning to recall our ride and get back home. The rescheduled flight wound up dumping us on my cousins, rather than hers, which caused a little scrambling on their part to prepare beds. On the way one of my teeth decide to start throbbing and my face started to swell up. A quick call to my dentist got me a prescription for antibiotics, and things have subsided.
Not feeling really up to much, we spent yesterday at Point Defiance park. Saw my first redwood, Douglas fir, etc. I realize these are not the real giants, but way bigger than anything we have at home.
Got delivered to Deedy's cousin in West Seattle yesterday afternoon, ate oysters, fish and chips, and drank beer at Salty's. Not certain what's happening today, I will let them plan, and just go where ordered.
