If the Ranger has power steering, plumb into that (hose,valve and cylinder). If you have a 'long-stroke' cylinder w/hand pump off of a cherry-picker (about a 30" stroke) you could put a sheave on the end of the cylinder rod & that will get the end of the lift cable close to 60" up from the base. You got a 'Bull Bag' laying around? They lift a lot with just exhaust pressure.
