cb said: (quoted from post at 06:58:27 07/22/15) another pc question.. have a Lenovo laptop.. when it opens to a web site.. I get this message..from every site.. the site is not responding. google, or any web site, it is the same.. do I have a vius or ??? thanks
This could be several things:
1- you are not getting a good connection to the internet. Check your connection to the internet.
2 - Your TCP/IP settings could be slightly off. Check your TCP/IP V4 settings. Especially under the advanced option, WINS tab and ensure that the radial button "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" is checked. This can create all kinds of issues depending on your operating system version of Windows.
3 - As you stated a virus can cause this. Not sure what anti-virus you are using. I have been in the I.T. industry for 25 years and I use Trend Micro Internet Suite. If no good anti-virus I would suggest purchasing one and installing then running a deep scan. Will run a long time.
4 - If you have recently received updates from Microsoft this can change your security level in your browser. If using Internet Explorer lower your security setting to medium and retry. I would suggest using either of the following browsers Chrome or Firefox. Be aware that Firefox has been known to have embedded virus' in the past.
5 - A corrupt file in either the operating system or browser software.
6 - If all else fails make a set of rescue disks. There is usually an option for this. As to where will depend on the BIOS revision and where LENOVO put it. After creating these disk do a backup of all of your files, wipe the system and re-install using rescue disks.
Hope these help. There are other issues that can cause this but one of these should have you back online soon.

It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
