I have about 150 gallons of Calcium Chloride in barrels. I have been using it on the drive way in front of the shop. Keeps the dust down all summer, which is VERY important, because that is where I am painting...
I will try directly putting some CC on a few plants, cutting a few off and putting CC on, and then RoundUp'ing the rest to see what happens.
Round Up being what it is, I am sure it will take care of them. Mom doesn't realize just how SAFE RoundUp is. It is only one molecule different from a plants Glucose ( I believe thats right?)
A neighbor and her were talking about it one time, and he was trying to tell her how safe it was. She wouldn't hear of it. He then told her, "Round Up is so safe, I would swish the concentrate around in my mouth for a few min to prove it!!!" (ya, BS is what I was thinking)
Well, sure as snot, next time I was up at his place, he grabbed one of those carry/pump/spray bottles, and SPRAYED some in his mouth, swished it around, and spit it out!!!!!!
Wonder when he will get brain cancer or something.....
Thanks again for the info boys!! I am going to give it a go today!! ;)
