Count your blessings on the no deer. Here in SC I have one wire chest high for deer, 2 strands abut 4 and 8 inches high for coons. These are electric operating off a 50 mile charger. Mostly successful until this year, have one deer that still get is sometimes. I bought some repellant, mixed it according to directions and sprayed it around the outside, successful except for one time. it smells bad, but not too bad. Friend got some that smells like big cat urine and has had no problems with deer. Don't know if it works for coons also.
