Gotta really love a manual trans truck to put up with pulling a loaded trailer or camper though about 20 stop lights that are mostly red. I have not done that for a few years now, but still vividly recall the experiences. I do not live in the city, but have traveled through several and it seemed that every time I got into 4th or 5th I was staring at another red light, and started the process over again. Couple that with my experiences of a couple clutch jobs, and the fact that I have yet to do more than a fluid/filter change on my automatics, and the choice is simple for me. I have heard that some of the Chrysler autos behind their diesel trucks were troublesome, but that has never been a problem for me, and I heeded the warnings where it states to dodge them. Everyone has their preferences, and I don't mind taking a sentimental journey once in a while and drive a stick, heck it has been a while since I drove a three on the tree which I learned to drive on.
