We're going to add another bedroom onto the house. So the one car garage has to go. It grieves me to just tear it down as it's still a good structure. Needs a little paint is all. So after wringing my hands,considering my options and doing some calculating I decided to pick it up and move it 125 miles up to my property. Of course with all the required licensing, permits and crap I can't haul it myself. But I did find a mover who will haul it pretty reasonable if I load it on my own trailer and unload it when I get there. So I've been messing with it in my spare time and as of last night have it sitting on the trailer. Still have to extend the tongue on the trailer and add some sway bracing, etc but it's just about ready to go. The cost will be about $1500, including a building permit up there - grrr. But for a 14' X 22' tractor shed that's not too bad. I'm just going to add two layers of treated 2X4s to the bottom and set it on class 5 gravel.
