How do I wire this OFF DIM ON switch to be an OFF/ON headlamp and tail lamp switch only? 6v positive ground system on a 1926 Gotfredson farm truck.
My generator does not have a Field terminal, so I do not need to use this switch for a generator output resistor.
Here is the front of the assembly. (The missing gauge is oil pressure).
Left:
Right:
And the back:
The headlamp gauge has screws marked BAT, REAR, ON, LHD, and a mystery label I cannot make out:
To use this switch as a ON/OFF only, do I simply wire the negative battery lead to BAT, the rear tail light to REAR, and the headlamps to ON? And, ignore the LHD and mystery screw?
There also is that cab light on the front of the assembly to light the interior.
Thanks in advance!
