Interesting timing.
About 2 weeks before the announcement 4 local HS boys were going to the MN boundary waters for a summer break camping trip. One, 17 was driving his dad's 2011 or 12 Dodge pickup with his fathers blessing. According to his dad his son had driven the truck many times and the father was confident in his son's ability to drive. It was a roll over accident, the driver and another boy were killed. According to eye witnesses it seems he lost control. Drugs and booze have been ruled out. The state is now investigating to see if the reported steering problems are to blame. The father bought the truck new and is now beside himself thinking that the truck he wanted and was so proud of may be the cause of his son's death. Very sad situation.
