My old 4020 came with a welded drawbar. It was hard to see it. It was a good job, and it worked for years. Then one day I was bouncing(going too fast) down a bumpy lane, with a heavy load on the drawbar, and bang!
I don't remember how it all worked out, but I recall looking at the OEM replacement, and it was full of holes! More than the original. I ended up with an A&I, and it has worked fine.
My CaseIH Maxxum 5230 came(used, of course!) with an offset drawbar much like the JD. It worked out better for the machines I use on that tractor to have a straight drawbar. So, I replaced a perfectly good drawbar. I believe this one is also A&I.
