There's about 80 cows and heifers out there with two bulls. The vet said it's inconclusive. Even with the stimulator it wouldn't come out. He said with a bull that age there shouldn't have been any problem at all. He felt along it and said he really didn't think it was broke. He ran a finger in as far as he could and said he didn't feel a wart either,but there was some infection. He said either way,he wasn't going to go back to work as soon as I wanted him to no matter what we did with him. So,he's in the feedlot and the new bull is with the cows. The new one came through the tested bull sale last year and is from a breeder that we've bought from through the sale a couple of times before,so everything should be back to normal. At least we found out now and not late fall or worse yet,next spring when the calves stopped coming.
