Yes it is funny how little people know about history. When people think of confederate states they think of one flag. Heck I know of 5 or 6 different flags you could associate with the confederate states.
Around here most think the blue lone star flag (bonnie blue) is a Florida Parish flag when we separated from Spain. While that is the true origin of the flag; few know it had anything to do with the confederate states.
It flies out front of just about every parish court house and many state parks in the area.
