I let into pressure from Microsoft to upgrade to Windows 10. I had Win 7 before and was happy with it but thought, gee I had to try the latest. About a week ago I upgraded and so far the only thing I have found good about it is that you can go back toyour old OS within a month of upgrade. I don't have multiple devices doing computer stuff, that seems to be advantage for Windows 10. Also that eventually Microsoft will force us to do it as they will quit supporting other operating systems as they have already on XP. I have been unable to play videos on computer since upgrading. Screen goes green or black and says video won't play. One was a video showing the good stuff onWindows 10 and how to use it. I sometimes get a message that says I need to upgrade my Adobe flash player, but when I try it says that Adobe flash player is a part of Win 10 so I don't need to upgrade. I went to Microsoft site, Community where people talk about problems with it and there seem to be many. I suspect if you are real computer savy in the newer stuff you can probably work through the issues. I am not anymore and just like my computer to get email, news, YTD mag forum and answer questions I have.. My feeling is that Win 10 is "not ready for prime time" yet and that Microsoft is sort of using us as testers to learn the problems, like the old Beta versins. I would not recommend it to anyone, especially if you aren't already bald. I am going back to 7.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
