No particular system to recommend, but you get what you pay for. The economy video systems that promise "good night vision", don't!
If I were to buy a system, I would want to see a real life demonstration to see if it will capture images in the dark, such as faces, vehicles, license plates, etc. These systems operate with a hard drive that stores the images so you can go back to view what was videoed in a given time frame. A UPS (uninterrupted power supply) is an economic way to keep it powered up.
Also a motion detector alarm system is a good deterrent. You can even add heat detectors for fire detection. I would build my own system though, avoid any contracts with alarm companies, too expensive in the long run.
And make it known the area is protected. Put up signs, make cameras visible, even add fake cameras if you want. Prevention is much better than trying to track down someone after the fact.
Upload one or more videos to your post. Photo filesizes should be less than 300K and Videos, less than 2MB. Formats allowed are gif, jpg, png, ogg, mp4, mov, and avi. Be sure to use filenames without spaces or special characters, and filetypes of 3 digits lower case.
