I don't normally make OT posts like this bit I will today.
I went to the Portland show today and about 100 miles we got behind another truck and trailer with a homemade garden tractor. The seat cushion had bounced off of the trailer and was sitting on deck of trailer against binder holding tractor on. We lost track of that truck, but about ten minutes from the show I saw the seat cushion sitting in the middle of the road. I stopped and picked it up hoping I could find the guy at the show and give it back.
About halfway through the show I finally saw the tractor and an older gentleman sitting on a 6x6 across the seat frame. I stopped and told him I had his seat cushion in the back of my truck. My brother had already found him and was walking to the truck to get it for him so I stayed there with him until my brother got back.
After talking to him I found out today was his 100th birthday. He couldn't believe we had found the seat and tracked him down to give it back. It was great talking to him. He was still very sharp and not too hard of hearing.
That was definitely my favorite part of the show today.

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
