Dean Blackford is in charge of parking and he got a workout Friday. We had records Thursday and Friday with Friday morning being overwhelming.
Yes, the people at the gates are wonderful, working LONG hours. I try to give them and other workers my wife's brownies when I get there to keep them going every day. But this did not just start Thursday. 2017 is in the planing now.
You meet people from everywhere. I bought a tractor from a guy in Cheyenne, WY, that came this year. First time I had meet him in person. While loading my tractors Sunday, 5 from WA state stopped to visit.
Most of all, thank you all that came, in person or with machines. It is unique in the way this much ground is farmed and has drawn much fame from afar. The directors should be commended for the great job. Thank you all.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
