We have a 19ft +/- Crustbuster nonfold up disk. Front blades are shot, 16-12inch and rears are 18.5. I've done the math and to rebuild the front, new bolts, 6 new bearings, 20+ blades adds up to just under 2k, another 2k to rebuild the rears plus all new scrapers all the way around.A equipment dealer near by has a older model John Deere 235 22ft fold down disk. Fronts are 19.5 rears are 18.5 like new tires. Has spring scrapers that look in good condition. Not sure on the hyd. hoses or cylinders. Disk defiantly hasn't been used in awhile from rust. They're asking $4,500. My first question would be is that disk even worth considering? Are they a peice of junk? Second would I be better off rebuilding what I got? And third, what is a fair price for that disk. I think $4,500 is a little high. Thanks.

It wasn't to relive memories of Grampa, Dad or myself out on the back 40 nursing the Farmall pulling too many b
