I have Travelers. Have never had a claim so I can't comment on that aspect. Three years ago I asked my agent if I could have a re-write of my policy and the agent told me she had never heard of a re-write. When she contacted Travelers they said they would do a re-write of my policy with the same exact coverage. When it was all said and done I saved $600. a year.
It might be worth your while to see if you can get a re write of your policy but keep in mind that the agent may balk at the idea because he will recieve a smaller commission on your policy.
